How It All Started

Richard L. Rue, Founder of Wise Engineering and Building Solutions, created a company dedicated to the study, integration and application of cutting edge technology for reducing energy consumption while not sacrificing your health and comfort in the structure. The Wise Analysis predicts remarkably low energy consumption (usually over 60% less) for heating and cooling costs when building Wise ultra-energy efficient structures compared to conventional code built construction...

We combine aerospace technology and our proprietary computer programs to correctly size and engineer high performance HVAC systems.

Proven success on tens of thousands of structures engineered and monitored for over a forty year period.

Our system works because we engineer the guesswork out of the HVAC delivery system and the thermal enclosure to ensure maximum performance.

Wise Engineering Analysis Report to Optimize the Thermal Enclosure.

This report predicts the total heating and cooling loads for the structure as well as a room-by-room load calculation breakdown. This is used to eliminate hot and cold spots throughout the structure. This analysis also provides an average monthly dollar amount the structure will not exceed in heating and cooling cost! (based on current utility rates).

Chief of Engineering, Michael R. Busby, an MIT Graduate, PhD, PE (and a former NASA Consultant).

We eliminate moisture issues, temperature imbalances and inefficiency due to mechanical system short cycling.

Each structure comes with an engineered mechanical layout that is reviewed by

The Wise Panel Building System is a patent-pending high-tech, more cost effective alternative to traditional stick-built structures and Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs). It’s a win-win for builders and here’s why…

Our unique manufacturing process combines wood or steel support members with EPS rigid foam panels, delivering a rigid, light wall system which installs much faster and provides incredibly strong structural framing, superior insulation, exterior sheathing and vapor barrier all in one step.

Also, by virtually eliminating thermal bridging and greatly mitigating air infiltration, we guarantee optimized energy efficiency and year-round comfort in residential and commercial structures.

The EPS foam used in our panels maintains a constant R-value throughout the life of the structure. Our panels won’t shrink or diminish in any way over time and they are easy to modify on the job site.

Easy to Implement

Wise panels are easy to install and alter and are ideal for residential and commercial applications. These energy efficient panels are 3½, 4, 5½, 7½, 9½ and 11½ inches thick for optimal sound attenuation and energy efficiency. Available widths are 24,” 36″ and 48″ and they are offered in lengths of 8,’ 9,’ 10,’ 12′ and longer.

Testimonials

“The program that Wise Engineering

offers is a genuine energy saver and will help our customers to get the lowest electric utility bill possible.”

Jody Orsag, District Customer Service Supervisor - TUElectric

"As a leader in the insulating concrete form industry, American Polysteel is proud of our association with Wise Engineering, and we feel fortunate to have the opportunity to recommend you and your associates to our network of distributors.”

American PolySteel, LLC
Patrick Murphy, President

“Our home was built using structural insulated panels. Your company provided the guidelines and helped find an HVAC contractor to install the heating and air conditioning system to these guidelines. As a result we installed a three and one half ton GeoWise System in our 3,400 square foot house. The usage after one year was 5,710 Kwh. At $.07 per Kwh this amounts to $400 or $33.31 per month.”
